Changing your user password
User passwords guard against unauthorized access to
the Glucose app on instruments.
Periodically you may be required to change your
password. When choosing a new password, follow your
healthcare facility’s guidelines on password
management.
The new password will be required the next time you log
on to the Glucose app. It might not be available on all
instruments immediately after you have made the
change.
If you do not have a password when logging on to the
Glucose app for the first time, you are prompted to create
one using the Change password dialog box.

r To change your user password
1 Choose > Change password.
Change password
New password
Confirm new password
Cancel Save
2 In the Change password dialog box do the
following:
• In the New password field, enter the new
password.
• In the Confirm new password field, enter the
new password again.

An error message notifies you when the
passwords you enter do not match.
3 Choose the Save button.
4 In the Password changed dialog box, tap the
Confirm button.
f Your password is changed.
