Turning on the instrument
You can turn on the instrument in one of two ways:
• Using the on/off button.
• Placing the instrument in the charging station.

m Instrument battery has sufficient charge
r To turn on the instrument
1 Do one of the following:
• Press and hold the on/off button for approximately
3 seconds.
• Place the instrument in the charging station.

In each case an audible beep is made.
f The cobas splash screen displays and then,
depending on the instrument’s configuration, the
Glucose screen or the app library is displayed.
