Configuration options
The system is highly-configurable. For that reason, some
screens and procedures in your healthcare facility might
differ slightly from the ones in this publication.
Testing principle
An enzyme on the test strip converts the glucose in the
blood sample to gluconolactone. This reaction creates a
harmless DC electrical current that the instrument
interprets and converts into a blood glucose result. The
sample and environmental conditions are also evaluated
using AC and DC signals.
