Guideway Examples
Figure 3-40 provides an example of a guideway and vehicle where the guideway is con-
structed of stiff steel sides and a sheet metal base. The vehicle has flanged wheels that ride on
the top of the side plates, which holds the vehicle and magnet array in the correct relationship
to the motors.
NOTE: Vehicles are not held in place if power is removed.
