Figure 3-41 provides an example of a guideway and vehicle where the guideway is con-
structed of extruded aluminum with linear bearing guide rails. The vehicle has linear bearing
slides that ride on the rails, and holds the vehicle and magnet array in the correct relationship
to the motors. This guideway can be used in any orientation as the vehicles are captive.
NOTE: Vehicles are not held in place if power is removed.
