Overview
This chapter provides an overview of operation for the QuickStick
®
High Thrust transport
system. The operation of the QSHT transport system is covered for both normal conditions
and emergency conditions.
Included in this chapter are:
• Theory of operation of the MagneMotion
®
linear synchronous motors and the Quick-
Stick HT transport system.
• Controls and indicators that are provided on the system.
• Simulation of QSHT transport system operation.
