Group Programming
20 Group totals are available to accumulate totals of individual PLUs that are assigned to each group.
Each PLU can be assigned to one, two or three different groups. (See "Program 150 - PLU Group
Assignment" on page 103 to program PLU groups for each PLU.)
• Use program 900 to assign a group status, i.e. a group can be set to not add to the total of
all groups, or a group can be used to designate like items for kitchen printer assignment.
• Use program 910 to assign a unique descriptor for each group, so that the group may be
easily understood on the group report.
Program descriptors by typing descriptors on the alpha keyboard overlay or by entering three
digit alpha character codes. To enter descriptors by three digit alpha character codes you must
add a value of ‘1’ to system option #25 (See “System Option Programming” on page 112).
Programming Group Status - Program 900
1. Turn the control lock to the P position.
2. To begin the program, enter 9 0 0, press the SBTL key.
3. Enter the number (1-99) of the group you wish to program; press the X/TIME key.
4. Enter an option digit from the table below, press the SBTL key.
