– Unscrew bolt -1- from the body.
– Unfasten clamps -arrows-.
– Remove silencer -2-.
Fitting
Install in the reverse order of removal, observing the following:
– Align exhaust system free of stress ⇒ page 411 .

Note

In the original factory equipment, this is a single piece with the
centre silencer. Can be renewed individually for repair purpo‐
ses.
♦
The connecting pipe -A- can be cut through at the separating
points in order to renew the rear silencers separately
⇒ page 408 .
Removing
– Remove the rear tunnel bridge -2-.
