Advanced Network Settings
About
This topic describes the communication parameters required to enable the DVR for vMax Live Plus, a Web-
based solution providing GPS for Automatic Vehicle Location and telemetry data for monitoring vehicle
sensors.

Before you begin...
Power up the DVR with a monitor and USB mouse connected, then right-click in Live view and select
Conguration.
For more information, see "Accessing the On-screen Display" on page 25.
Advanced Settings Tab (vMax Live Plus)
Use this tab to set up the DVR to connect with vMax Live Plus via a cellular modem. For more information, see
the vMax Live Plus documentation on the Safe Fleet Community.
A qualied IT administrator is required to perform network conguration, including assignment of IP
addresses.
A cellular modem or gateway must also be installed and congured.

NOTE: Qualied IT Administrator Required 
To congure Advanced Network Settings:
1. Select Network  Advanced to open the tab.
2. Congure settings as required.

3. Click Back to save changes, then click Back
again to return to the Conguration menu.
