4.3.1 Installation site
Prerequisites
Ins
tallation location provides protection against moisture, dirt and damage.
Installation location allows heat dissipation and convection around the housing of
the camera system.
Status indicators are easily visible after mounting.
Field of view is not obscured when the device is mounted in an additional housing.
The field of view area is recessed when mounting the device in an additional
housing. Do not use an additional front screen.

4.3.2 Protection from overheating
Protection from overheating

verheating of the device can impair the device function and thereby reduce the
availability of the machine.
Measures to increase availability:

Mount the device on a heat-conductive metal surface, e.g., steel or aluminum
frame.

In case of possible overheating or operation above 40°C ambient temperature,
install heat sinks or take comparable measures.

If the device is integrated into the contour of a vehicle or machine, make sure that
convection around the device is not restricted.
