7.10.3.2 ROIs (region of interest)
Overview
T
he ROIs area is used to create ROI sets and ROIs. In the area below that you can set
the properties of the ROIs and ROI sets and position the ROIs. You can also position the
ROIs directly in the 2D view. An ROI has a size of 10pixels × 10pixels.
Important information
NOTE
T
he 2D view is rotatable. When positioning the ROIs using the 2D view, use the real
scene and the x and y values to check that the position is correct.

Features Description
Name You can assign a unique name to each ROI.
Field type Shows the selected field type.
ROI Measurement Value
Out
put
Outputs the average of the measured values.
Average Filter You can use the A
verage Filter property to specify the number of
measured values used to calculate the average value.
ROI Tolerance The cut-off path switches to the OFF state if the measured value is
not within the tolerance band.
Multiple sampling: The multiple sampling configured for the monitor‐
ing level initially applies to all ROIs. You can adjust this setting
individually for each ROI if necessary.
