7.10.3 Fields and ROI
The F
ields and ROI page is used to configure the fields and ROIs of the device.
7.10.3.1 Fields
Overview
In t
he Fields area, you create the field sets and fields. In the area below that, you can
set the properties of the fields and field sets.
In the 3D Editor, you can add cuboids for selected fields of a field set via the toolbar.
Depending on the selection, the cuboid is aligned parallel to the device or parallel to
the floor.
You can adjust the position and orientation of a cuboid using the grippers in the 3D
editor or in the field settings.
Important information
WARNING
Ineffectiveness of the protective device due to positioning of the protective field outside
the limited field of view
Areas of the protective field that lie outside the limited field of view are automatically
removed. The monitoring function has no effect in these areas. The dangerous state
may not be stopped or not be stopped in a timely manner in the event of non-compli‐
ance.

Place protective fields within the limited field of view.

Check that the protective field has a minimum size of 300mm in each direction
within the limited field of view.
