The analog outputs 1 to 4 are limited to a mean load of 40 mA in order to
protect the module. The extension of the current range of these outputs to 50
mA / 59.26 mA is only intended for controlling integral–action actuating ele-
ments. To this purpose a max. current of 59.26 mA is provided for a limited
period.
The current is monitored by software and is limited as follows:
Mean–value limitation: At a power output configured to "50 mA a first–order
time delay with a time constant of 10 seconds is used to form the mean value
of the output current. It the mean value exceeds a current of 40 mA, the out-
put current and thus also the mean value of the output current is limited to
"40 mA.
