• Incorrect device name
• Error in configuration
• Parameterization errors
• Check the I/O device.
• Check the configuration and parameter
settings.
• Check the device name.
• Check the IO Controller.

• The IO Device is not connected to a
switch.
• Connect to the IO Controller.
• Assign a valid device name to the I/O de-
vice.
• Check the bus installation.
• Check whether the M12 cable connectors
are properly installed.
• Check whether the bus cable to the IO
Controller is interrupted.
