Terminal
Designation
1)
Technical specifications
1
Shield
Shield connection for terminals 2 to 6
2
0 V
High signal level: +15 ... 30 V
current consumption: 2 ... 15 mA
Low signal level: -3 ... 5 V
3 DI inhibit input
4
0 V
High signal: No fault
Low signal: Fault present
Voltage: 24 V DC
Load current: 0,5 ... 0.6 A
5 DO fault output
6 +24 V Voltage: +18 ... 30 V
Typical current consumption (induced current con-
sumption):
10 mA at 24 V DC
Max. connectable cross-section: #16 AWG (1.5 mm
2
)
1)
DI: digital input; DO: Digital output
The signals of terminal block -X21 are factory-routed to customer interface -X55 (maximum
connectable cross-section: 2.5 mm
2
):
Jumper from -X21:2 to -X55-X132:14 (ground)
Jumper from -X21:3 to -X55-X132:12 (DI/DO14)
Jumper from -X21:5 to -X55-X132:1 (DI4)
Jumper from -X21:6 to -X55-X132:9 (DI/DO12)
Note
The "DO fault output" signal can be used for evaluatio
n in the Control Unit.
On the "+24 V" signal, 24 V DC must be provided by the customer to supply the braking
module.
Note
Signal characteristics of terminal X21.3
Applying a high signal to terminal X21.3 inhibits the Braking Module. On a falling edge,
pending error messages are acknowledged.
Note
The Braking Module requires DC
-link voltage so that the "No fault" message can be issued
correctly.
