7.2 Diagnostics concept
The diagnostics concept of the MSS 3RK3 is illustrated in the following diagram:
The various device messages result in an entry in DS92. Some of the messages then trigger a
higher-level error, for example, group errors (SF), bus faults (BF), group warnings (SW), and
group prewarnings (SVW) in the group status.
Messages output by the function elements initially result in a certain element status, which itself
can result in an entry in DS92.
This status is then indicated by the LEDs. Data set 92 can be read out via the diagnostics via
PROFIBUS.
