9.5 4100 LCD DISPLAY FAULT MESSAGES TABLE
IF THE LCD DISPLAYS POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
OPEN CIRCUIT FAULT
SPEAKER LINE
Speaker cabling fault.
Open circuit cable.
No EOL resistor.
No DC isolation
capacitor fitted
(incorrect speaker
type).
Check as instructed in
installation manual.
Fit 10k EOL resistor.
Fitted capacitors or
change speaker.
SHORT CIRCUIT FAULT
SPEAKER LINE WITH
AMPLIFIER OFF
Speaker cabling fault.
Short circuit cable.
No EOL resistor.
No DC isolation
capacitor fitted,
(incorrect speaker
type).
Check as instructed in
installation manual.
Fit 10k EOL resistor.
Fitted capacitors or
change speaker.
AMPLIFIER FAILURE
Faulty amplifier
Blown fuse.
Faulty Ribbon Cable.
Replace amplifier.
Replace fuse. 5 amp
3AG.
Replace Ribbon Cable.
OPEN CIRCUIT WIP LINE
Speaker cabling fault.
Open circuit cable.
No EOL resistor.
Check as instructed in
installation manual.
Fit 10k EOL resistor.
SHORT CIRCUIT
WIP LINE
Speaker cabling fault.
Open circuit cable.
No EOL resistor.
Check as instructed in
installation manual.
Fit 10k EOL resistor.
OPEN CIRCUIT
BGA INPUTS
Cabling fault.
Open circuit cable.
No EOL resistor.
Check as instructed in
installation manual.
Fit 3k3 EOL resistor.
