3. Loose or broken wire #10D from platform rotate
switch S16 to diode D10D.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
4. Open or defective diode D10D. Check diode. Replace if defective.
5. Loose or broken wire #10E from diode D10D to
platform rotate switch S16.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
6. Defective platform rotate switch S16. Check continuity through switch while activating
rotate left function between wires #10E and #35. If
no continuity found, replace switch.
7. Loose or broken wire #35 from platform rotate
switch S16 to main harness plug pin #12.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
8. Loose or broken wire #35 in main harness cable
or its connectors.
Check for continuity between pin #12 on main
harness connector and rotate left/ jib up connector.
Check for loose or corroded connections on cable
connectors. Replace if wire is defective.
9. Loose or broken wire #02 in main harness cable
or its connectors.
Check for continuity between pin #23 on main
harness connector and rotate left/ jib up connector.
Check for loose or corroded connections on cable
connectors. Replace if wire is defective.
10. Defective platform rotate left/ jib up valve coil
5H-35.
Check continuity and resistance through coil.
Replace if defective.
4.3-25 No Platform Rotate Right from the Base Control Console
1. Loose or broken wire #10A from base terminal
block to relay 37CR.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
2. Loose or broken wire #10D from relay 37CR to
platform rotate switch S16.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
3. Loose or broken wire #10D from platform rotate
switch S16 to diode D10D.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
4. Open or defective diode D10D. Check diode. Replace if defective.
5. Loose or broken wire #10E from diode D10D to
platform rotate switch S16.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
6. Defective platform rotate switch S16. Check continuity through switch while activating
rotate right function between wires #10E and #34.
If no continuity found, replace switch.
7. Loose or broken wire #34 from platform rotate
switch S16 to main harness plug pin #11.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
8. Loose or broken wire #34 in main harness cable
or its connectors.
Check for continuity between pin #11 on
main harness connector and rotate right/ jib
down connector. Check for loose or corroded
connections on cable connectors. Replace if wire is
defective.
