Manifold and Hydraulic Pumps Section 5 – Procedures
5.9-2 Hydraulic System Relief Valve
Adjustment (RV1)
1. Adjust the pressure compensator valve on the
System pump to 220 bar (3200 psi). Refer
to procedure 5.9-12 Hydraulic High Pressure
Adjustment.
2. Locate the GP Port
1
on the main manifold and
remove the cap.

1
3. Connect a pressure gauge (350 bar/5000 psi) to
the GP port
1
.
4. Start the engine from the base controls and let it
run for 2-5 minutes.
5. Steer fully to one direction and then check
reading on gauge. The pressure should be
214 bar (3100 psi). Follow the next steps for
adjusting the pressure, if needed.
6. Locate system relief valve RV1
2
.
7. Loosen the lock nut on system relief valve
RV1
2
. Turn the adjusting stem clockwise to
increase the pressure, or counterclockwise to
decrease the pressure.
8. Tighten the lock nut on system relief valve RV1
2
once 214 bar (3100 psi) is observed on
the gauge. Note: You must steer fully in one
direction to activate the pressure reading on the
gauge.
9. Reset the pressure compensator valve on the
system pump to 200 bar (2900 psi). Refer to
procedure 5.9-12 Hydraulic High Pressure
Adjustment.
5.9-3 Turret Rotate Relief Valve
Adjustment (RV2)
1. Locate the GP port on the main manifold and
remove the cap
1
.
3
1
2. Connect a pressure gauge (350 bar/5000 psi) to
the GP port
1
.
3. Start the engine from the base controls and let it
run for 2-5 minutes.
4. Raise the main boom to ensure the platform will
not contact the ground.
5. Engage the turret transport lock.
6. Attempt to rotate the turret. The pressure should
be 97 bar (1400 psi). Follow the next steps for
adjusting the pressure, if needed.
7. Locate turret rotate relief valve RV2
3
.
8. Loosen the lock nut on the turret rotate relief
valve RV2
3
. Turn the adjusting stem clockwise
to increase the pressure, and counterclockwise
to decrease the pressure.
9. Tighten the lock nut on turret rotate relief valve
RV2 once 97 bar (1400 psi) is observed on the
gauge. Note: You must activate the turret rotate
to obtain a pressure reading on th egauge.
10. Disengage the turret transportation lock.
