5.9-4 Platform Level Relief Valve
Adjustment (RV3)
1. Locate the GP port
1
on the main manifold,
and remove the cap.
2
1
2. Connect a pressure gauge (350 bar/5000 psi) to
the GP port
1
.
3. Start the engine from the base controls and let it
run for 2-5 minutes.
4. Raise the main boom to ensure the platform will
not contact the ground.
5. Fully raise or lower the platform level and check
the reading on the gauge. The pressure should
be 190 bar (2750 psi). Follow the next steps for
adjusting the pressure, if needed.
6. Locate platform leveling relief valve RV3
2
.
7. Loosen the lock nut on platform level relief valve
RV3
2
. Turn the adjusting stem clockwise to
increase the pressure, and counterclockwise to
decrease the pressure.
8. Tighten the lock nut on platform level relief valve
RV3
2
once 190 bar (2750 psi) is observed on
the gauge. Note: You must fully raise or lower
platform level to activate pressure reading on
gauge.
5.9-5 Riser Boom Down Relief Valve
Adjustment (RV4)
1. Locate the GP Port
1
on the main manifold,
and remove the cap.
3
1
2. Connect a pressure gauge (350 bar/5000 psi) to
the GP port
1
.
3. Start the engine from the base controls and let it
run for 2-5 minutes.
4. Raise the main boom to ensure the platform will
not contact the ground.
5. Fully lower the riser and check the reading on
the gauge. The pressure should be 97 bar
(1400 psi). Follow the next steps for adjusting
the pressure, if needed.
6. Locate the riser down relief valve RV4
3
.
7. Loosen the lock nut on riser boom relief valve
RV4
3
. Turn the adjusting stem clockwise to
increase the pressure, and counterclockwise to
decrease the pressure.
8. Tighten the lock nut on the riser boom relief
valve RV4
3
once 97 bar (1400 psi) is observed
on the gauge. Note: You must fully lower riser to
activate pressure reading on the gauge.
