14. Loose or broken wire #34 from platform rotate
switch S20 to plug A pin#16 in platform control
console.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
15. Loose or broken wire #34 in boom cable A or its
connectors.
Check for continuity between pins #16 on cable A.
Check for loose or corroded connections on cable
connectors. Replace if wire is defective.
16. Loose or broken wire #34 from base connector
plug A pin #16 to base terminal block.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
17. Loose or broken wire #34 from base terminal
block to main harness plug pin #11.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
18. Loose or broken wire #34 in main harness cable
or its connectors.
Check for continuity between pin #11 on
main harness connector and rotate right/ jib
down connector. Check for loose or corroded
connections on cable connectors. Replace if wire is
defective.
19. Loose or broken wire #02 in main harness cable
or its connectors.
Check for continuity between pin #23 on
main harness connector and rotate right/ jib
down connector. Check for loose or corroded
connections on cable connectors. Replace if wire is
defective.
20. Defective platform rotate right/ jib down valve coil
5H-34.
Check continuity and resistance through coil.
Replace if defective.
4.3-42 No Jib Up from the Platform Control Console
1. Loose or broken wire #8 from platform terminal
block to relay 36CR.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
2. Loose or broken wire #8B from relay 36CR to jib
up switch S21.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
3. Loose or broken wire #8B from jib up switch S21
to diode D8B.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
4. Open or defective diode D8B. Check diode. Replace if defective.
5. Loose or broken wire #8D from diode D8B to jib
up switch S21.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
6. Defective jib up switch S21. Check continuity through switch while activating jib
up function between wires #8D and #35.
7. Loose or broken wire #20B from jib up switch
S21 to diode D20B.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
8. Open or defective diode D20B. Check diode. Replace if defective.
9. Loose or broken wire #20A from diode D20B to
valve driver pin #33.
Check continuity. Replace if defective.
