4. Tighten the jam nut. Repeat this procedure on
the other side.
5. On the cylinder side, ensure there is some
clearance between the cylinder and the lever “A”,
with the lever against the stop
6. Introduce pressure into the cylinder and ensure
the check unit engages.
7. Release the pressure from the cylinder and
check that the rod returns and stops in a
position where it projects out from the cylinder
head by 5 mm (3/16").
8. If adjustment is needed loosen the jam nut,
pressurize the cylinder, and turn the adjustment
stem. Repeat step 7 and tighten the jam nut
when the correct adjustment is obtained.
