3. Direct connection tab > IP address column:
Mark the drive controller in question or activate all those listed using the context menu.
Confirm your selection with OK.
ð The Assignment window opens. All drive controllers connected to the selected network
interface are displayed.
4. Connected drive controllers via communication:
Click on Establish online connections.
ð The data connection is established and the project configuration data is transmitted from
the drive controller to the PC.
ð The drive controller is created in the project tree and is active.
5. Then click in the Assignment window on Disconnect.
6. Confirm the Reverse documentation dialog box with OK.
ð The connection is disconnected.
ð The drive controller is write-protected (lock status with red R).
7. Save the project in a local directory and send the file to us.
15.2.2 Loading reverse documentation in an existing project

Your PC is connected to the drive controller. The drive controller is ready for operation.
ü
A project file for your drive system already exists.
1. Start DriveControlSuite.
2. Click on Open project.
3. Navigate to the directory and load the file.
4. In the project menu, click Connection and assignment.
ð The Setting up a connection window opens.
5. Direct connection tab > IP address column:
Mark the network interfaces in question and confirm your selection with OK.
ð The Assignment window opens. All drive controllers that are connected over the
selected network interface are displayed and are ignored by default for the data
synchronization.
6. Select Read out from all drive controllers in the context menu in order to activate all drive
controllers for data synchronization.
7. In the context menu, select Assign all drive controllers according to reference.
8. Then click Establish online connections.
ð The data connection is established and the project configuration data is transmitted from
the drive controller to the PC.
ð The drive controller is created in the project tree and is active.
9. Then click in the Assignment window on Disconnect.
10. Confirm the Reverse documentation dialog box with OK.
ð The connection is disconnected.
ð The drive controller is write-protected (lock status with red R).
11. Save the project in a local directory and send the file to us.
