! Diesel engine models
1. Use a screwdriver to remove the clips
on the cover of the engine control unit,
then remove the cover of the engine
control unit. Refer to “Type A clips” F11-9.
2. Unsnap the two clamps holding the air
cleaner case cover.
3. Open the air cleaner case, and then
hook the clamps onto the bracket of the
engine control unit.
4. Remove the air cleaner element by
covering the clamp with a hand, to avoid
scratching the air cleaner element.
5. Clean the inside of the air cleaner case
and case cover with a damp cloth.
6. If the air cleaner case has been
removed, insert the three projections on
the air cleaner case into the slits on the air
cleaner case cover.
