Battery Modules Shipping Provisions
Check whether the delivery is complete.
It is necessary to comply with the relevant regulations and provisions on roads for shipping lithium-ion prod-
ucts in the corresponding countries. Please take the following precautions to ensure safe and proper use of
the battery energy storage system:
1. NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited in the vehicle during transportation and in the vicinity during
loadingandunloading.Smokingposesasignicantrehazardandcancompromisethesafetyofthe
cargo and personnel involved.
2. VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS: Dangerous goods transport vehicles must comply with relevant regulations
forroadtransportation.Additionally,theyshouldbeequippedwithtwotestedCO2reextinguishersto
addressanypotentialreemergencies.
3. FREIGHT FORWARDER RESTRICTIONS: Freight forwarders should not open the outer package of the
battery module. Use only approved lifting equipment to move the battery cabinet system, utilizing the
hanginglugonthetopastheconnectionpoint.Maintainaminimumslingangleof60°duringlifting.
4. PROPER VEHICLE LOADING: Improper vehicle transportation can result in injuries. Ensure that the cab-
inet is positioned vertically within the vehicle to prevent sliding or overturning during transport. Always
usexingbeltstosecurethecabinetinplace.
5. AVOID TILTING BATTERY RACKS: Tilted battery racks can cause injuries and damage. The maximum
weight of a single battery rack of the High Voltage Series Battery is 628 kg. Ensure that the battery cabi-
net is placed on a stable surface and does not tilt due to load or force.
6. VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION: Improper transportation methods can damage the battery energy storage
system. Transport the battery module only in a vertical position, considering that some parts may be top-
heavy. Failure to comply with this instruction may result in damage to the components.
7. SEPARATE TRANSPORTATION OF BATTERY MODULES AND RACKS: During transportation, do not trans-
port the battery storage rack with installed battery modules. Always transport the battery modules and
battery rack separately. Once the battery module is installed, avoid moving or lifting the battery rack.
8. PROTECTIVE PACKAGING: Whenever possible, avoid removing the transport packaging until arrival at
the installation site. Prior to removing the transport protector, inspect the packaging for any damages
and check the impact indicator on the outer packaging of the battery converter. If the impact indicator is
triggered, the possibility of transport damage cannot be ruled out.
9. PROPER HANDLING EQUIPMENT: Improper transportation of battery modules can result in injuries. The
single battery module weighs 44 kg, and dropping or slipping can cause harm. Only use suitable trans-
port and lifting equipment to ensure secure transportation.
10. WEAR SAFETY SHOES: When transporting the battery rack and module, ensure all personnel involved
wear safety shoes with toe caps. The heavy weight of the parts poses a crushing hazard. Additionally,
adhere to safety regulations for transportation, especially during loading and unloading at the end cus-
tomer's site.
11. PROTECTIVE GLOVES: During transportation and installation of unpacked battery storage cabinets, the
risk of injury increases, particularly on sharp metal panels. All personnel involved in transportation and
installation must wear protective gloves to mitigate the risk of cuts or other injuries.
12. WORKING TOGETHER: The maximum weight of a single rack of the High Voltage Series Battery can reach
628 kg. It is recommended that 2-3 people collaborate to install the battery rack. Use lifting devices such
as pulleys or carts for lighter parts, while ensuring that the case remains undamaged. Do not stack more
than 8 battery modules.
