Exhaust Ventilation System Layout
Air Ventilation System Function
 When the carbon monoxide (CO) level reaches 5% Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) or the hydrogen (H2) level
reaches 35 parts per million (PPM), the ventilation fan starts working, and the electric louvers open.
 When the CO level is lower than 3% LEL and the H2 level is lower than 15 PPM, the ventilation fan stops
working, and the electric louvers shut down.
 In the event of a power failure from the CC Room (central control room), the electric louvers at the inlet
and outlet automatically open to allow ventilation.
 The ventilation control unit box features a manual button that allows users to start and close the louvers
whenthemainACpoweriso.
 The H2 and CO gas detectors transmit an RS485 signal to the CC Room for supervisory purposes.
 Theventilationcontrolunitboxshouldbemounted1.1metersabovetheoor.
NOTE:
 Air ventilation fan`s action signal will be transmitted to CC Room.
 Control panel will transmit operation signal of air inlet and outlet louver to CC Room.
