★ Warning: During the lifting process of steel rope of main winch, pay attention to the
position of swivel joint and ear plate of kelly bar to avoid overloading of swivel joint. If the
situation as following figure occur, the lifting should be stopped immediately, and it should
be adjusted to the right position as the below right figure, then the kelly bar can be lifted.
8. Lower kelly bar slowly to insert the bracket into the guide slot on the uppermost of the mast
guiderail. Stop lifting, and adjust the kelly to vertical state to keep the guide slot of following
frame close to the guide rail of drill mast. And then lower kelly slowly to reeve through guide
rail into the guide slot completely. At this moment, a work personnel is required on the Rotary
drive to assist to plug the kelly into Rotary drive.
★Warning: Motions should be as slow as possible, failure to comply may result in machine
damage and injury of working staff caused by slewing kelly.
9. Operate the crowd cylinder slowly to lift Rotary drive to a certain height where is in the
middle position of kelly.
10. Control the lever to lower drill mast to level position, and take out the pin of following
bracket, close the clamping claw, and reinstall the mounting pin.
11. Erect the drill mast and lower the Rotary drive to the suitable position.
