4 When in-hole collapse accident is occurring, it should lift winch immediately and hoist
drilling tool quickly to prevent drills embedding; When kelly is dropping into hole
because of steel rope cutting, it should pull rod out by other device in time to prevent
drills embedding.
5 Before the machine travels or swings, warn other people by tapping the horn. Ensure
no other people is in the work range.
6 Operate the mast backward 10°~15° to prevent machine tilting because of rough
terrain.
7 When traveling and starting in narrow area, hand signal should be used, and agree
upon the hand signals before machine start-up. Before operate machine, make sure
helpers is in safety range. Only know and understand helpers signal, can operate rig.
1.7.6 Precautions for Travelling
1 Clean all obstacles in machine running way
2 Excepting operators, other person should leave machine and stay far away from
running range;
3 Familiar with complicated terrain, such as cable trench, refill soil etc. dangerous site;
4 Ensure horn and all warning devices in machine are in good condition;
5 Before moving machine, check the position of travel device. Its correct direction:
tension roller is under cab front, drive roller is in the back;
6 Check controller and safety devices are in good condition;
7 Make sure to follow all safety rules
1.7.7 Precautions for Transportation
1 The machine should be fixed well when transportation, the platform and the rotary
fixed pin of the chassis should be installed, and the supporting frame must be installed
in the front/rear of mast.
2 When the weight of the machine is greater than the allowable weight, it is possible to
decompose the transport method.

1.7.8 Preventing Accidents While Backing or Swinging
1 Look around and confirm there is nobody and no objects that may cause collisions
before backing up or swinging, and follow the conductor’s command before operating.
2 Ensure that other people are out of the working range. Warn other people by tapping
the horn or using other signals before the machine moves.
3 Keep a signal man within his (her) vision range if the operator’s vision is obscured.
