4 The signalman should use the hand signal when the job requires a signalman. Only
after the signalman and the driver understood the meaning of the signal, they could
operated the machine.
5 Understand the meaning of flags, marks and signals before the machine moves or
swings and only execute the signal from pointed persons. But execute it immediately
for stop signal whoever gives
6 Keep windows, mirrors, and lights clean and in good condition.
7 Use lights when visibility is obscured by dust, rain, fog, etc or stop working. If light is
not enough to travel, back up or swing, stop machine immediately.
1.7.9 Preventing Battery Explosion
1 Forbid fire or flame close to the battery top, battery gas may cause explosion.
2 Check battery electric volume with a voltage meter or gravimeter. Do not place metal
bestriding connection rod to check electricity deposit.
3 Never charge a frozen battery, otherwise it will explode. Charge the battery after
warming it up to 16°C (60°F). It is not allowed to warm the battery by naked flame.
1.7.10 Prevention of Splashing Objects
1 Minimize grinding dust and debris by appropriate means. Wear goggles. Keep people
away from work area to avoid accidents.
2 If happening track slip of the crawlers and have to drive it by high speed, make sure
no body or machine would be hurt by the sandstone flying out.
3 If the crawler is skidded, it must not drive the crawler to rotate at high speed so as to
prevent the sand from flying out of the belt.
1.7.11 Prevention of Flying-out Parts
The grease in the crawler tension unit is under high pressure. To avoid injury, do not
discharge grease cup or valve. Also keep your body and face away from any valves and oil cup
in case any unexpected parts fly off.
1.7.12 Keeping Away From Transmission Parts
1 Touch transmission parts may cause GBH or death.
2 When you work around the transmission parts, pay attention not to let your hand, foot,
hair or clothes touch the transmission parts.
