8.12 MAINTENANCE FOR EVERY TWO YEARS OR 3000
HOURS
8.12.1 Changing Coolant
After engine is used for two years or 3000 hours, the efficiency of coolant (additive) may lose
completely, thus, coolant should be changed for the protection of engine service life. The
replacement is as below:
1. Start the engine to heat the coolant to 80℃ and stop it.
2. After the coolant temperature reduce to 50℃,(water temperature indicates on the monitor),
and then open radiator pressure cover plate and pressure cap.
3. Place a container under the radiator, unscrew the water drain plug on the bottom of radiator
water tank and pull it out slowly to enable coolant flowing into the container.
Note! Avoid being sprayed by hot coolant.

4.Tighten the plug after draining coolant, and close water drain valve.
5. Add coolant into radiator, please refer to “8.3.14 Checking Coolant Level”
6. After filling, please install pressure cap and cover plate.
