Transport posture A is to transport the entire machine with Kelly. For such posture, two
ends of Kelly should be fixed to prevent accidents caused by the moving of Kelly. According to
the length of Kelly, select proper position to fix it and the Rotary drive should be on the place
as shown in FIG. 6-7. Place the Kelly to the front end of Rotary drive.
1. Pin holes are on the servo-frame which connects Kelly. When transportation, plug
inserted pin into pin holes of drill mast through the servo-frame, and lock the pin to prevent
loosening.
2. Reeve iron chain or steel rope through pin holes of Kelly, and then fix it with the lower
platen to prevent the move of Kelly.
