SWDM40 OPERATION & MAINTENANCE MANUAL
3 Check the hose for any damage to performance frequently, for example, scratch,
rupture, local uplift. If any, please replace it in time.
4 Please read the relevant safety operation rules and instructions in advance when it
relates to the use of air compressor, punching machine, etc.
1.7.18 Avoiding Heating near Pressure Oil Pipes
1 To prevent severe burns, do not weld or flame cut near pressured oil pipe or other
flammable materials.
2 A temporary fireproof protection cover should be provided when welding, flame
cutting or gas welding taking place
1.7.19 Avoiding Heating Pipes Containing Flammable Liquids
Pipes with flammable liquid are not permitted to be welded. Pipes or hoses must be
cleaned completely with incombustible solvent should any welding be required on those pipes
1.7.20 Precautions for Welding
1 All the control units should be unplugged when any welding occur on the machine
2 Welding person should have corresponding skill qualification.
3 The ground wire shall be connected to the attachment of welding points. There shall
be no sealing rings, piston rod, gears, bearings and other components between the
welding points and ground wires. Otherwise the arc welding will damage the parts,
causing a failure or accident.
4 Remove combustible materials and prepare fire extinguishers.
5 Prevent potential poisonous gas and dust
6 When paint is heated up by welding or other methods, it will produce poisonous gas
7 Remove paint by the following methods before welding or heating:
●Wear a regulated mask to prevent inhaling dust when removing paint with abrasive
paper or sand wheel.。
●Remove paint with solvent or paint remover. Clean paint remover with soap and water
and wait for about 15 minutes for solvent to evaporate before welding. Paint removal work
should be conducted outdoors or in a well-ventilated area
1.7.21 Safe Disposal of Liquids
1 All fuels, most lubricants, and some coolants are flammable. These flammable liquids
should be stored away from fire. Do not burn or punch any liquid containers.
2 Dispose of fuel carefully; stop engine before adding fuel; prohibit smoking while
adding fuel. Add fuel outdoors.
3 Do not put oil-containing rags on the machine to ensure the machine stays clean.
1.7.22 Safe Disposal of Chemicals
1 Touching harmful chemicals directly will cause serious injury to the human body. The
