3.4 USE AND MAINTENANCE OF POST-PROCESSING
SYSTEM
1. Coolant (which is the mixed liquor of 50% ethylene glycol or propylene glycol group and
50% purified water), never add water directly.
2. The sulphur content of fuel in the fuel system is no more than 15ppm, and the grade of oil is
CJ4 or ACEA E9 and above.
3. The mixed liquor in the urea tank should include 32.5% high cleaning urea and 67.5%
deionized water;
4. The consumption of urea solution is little, and the urine fuel ratio is about 8%. If the solution
in the urea tank is little, there will be a warning light in the cab, please refill that in time;
5. There’s an imported filter element in the urea spray module (100 micron), which don’t have
to be maintained. Main filter element (10 micron), it should be maintained and changed after
4500-6000 hours;
6. Avoid water entering into sensors in the post-processing system;
7. There are many sensors in the post-processing system, please refer to the electrical system for
the control method. The use and maintenance about engine system, please find in the attached
“Engine Operation & Maintenance Manual”.
Special Note: Engine instruction manual should be observed strictly when using the engine
in the environment with low or extra-low temperature.
