8.5.4 Checking and Changing Drive Key Bar for Kelly
Note：Check Rotary drive key bar for loose and damage every 50 hours.
1）Clean drive key bar to avoid mud attaching on it and weaken use performance.
2）Check Kelly drive key bar for abrasion.
3）If abrasion exceeds 8mm, change Kelly drive key bar with a new one. Change the lower
briquetting block if the abrasion exceeds 15mm. Any abrasion is found, briquetting block and
mounting bolts should be changed together.

（1）Remove junction bolts for platen and gear.
（2）Uninstall platen and lower briquetting block in order, take out key bar.
