2.3.3.2 Main Winch
The main winch is installed on the turntable. The main winch is used to lift and lower the kelly
bar. The main winch is driven by the hydraulic motor with the floating function of free release,
to meet the needs of the drilling rig.(Special note: when lowering kelly bar in non-drilling
process, floating function is not allowed).The control mode is hydraulic pilot control. See
fig2-6.Main winch is equipped with pressure rope device to prevent random rope.
