FUEL SYSTEM 5-3
FUEL LINE INSPECTION
Inspect the fuel lines, fuel tank and fuel tank cap for damage and
fuel leakage. If any damages are found, replace the defective
parts with the new ones.
• Remove the front fender. (7-5)
• Turn the fuel valve to the “ON” position.
• Disconnect the fuel hose 1 and vacuum hose 2.
• Remove the air cIeaner duct 3.
• Remove the fuel tank.
• Drain fuel completeIy.
REMOUNTING
Remount the fuel tank in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following points:
• Insert the air vent hose 1 to the air vent hose cap 2.
GasoIine is highIy fIammabIe and expIosive. Keep
heat, sparks and fIames away from gasoIine.
