REVERSE LOCK RELEASE CABLE
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
• Take the boot 1 off.
• Loosen the locknut 2.
• Remove the clip 3 and pin 4.
• Loosen the locknuts 5 and remove the reverse lock release
cable.
• Remount the reverse lock release cable in the reverse order
of removal. After remounting, adjust the cable play.
NOTE:
Make sure that the reverse lock release cable must be properly
routed. (9-17)
CABLE PLAY ADJUSTMENT
• Loosen the locknut 1.
• Turn the nut 2 until the cable play at the knob is between 0.5
– 3.0 mm (0.02 – 0.12 in).
• Tighten the locknut.
0.5 – 3.0 mm (0.02 – 0.12 in)
