REAR DRIVE DISASSEMBLY
REAR DRIVE GEAR CASE
• Remove the rear drive gear case cover bolts diagonally and
evenly.
• Pry the cover at the arrows as shown by tapping with a plastic
mallet.
• Remove the ring gear and shims.
• Remove the dust seal out of the cover with the special tool.
 09913-50121: Oil seal remover
NOTE:
If there is no abnormal condition, the dust seal removal is not
necessary.

• Remove the snap ring.
• Drive out the bearing from the other side with the special tool.
 09913-70210: Bearing installer set
NOTE:
If there is no abnormal condition, the bearing removal is not nec-
essary.

The removed dust seal must be replaced with a new
one.
The removed bearing must be replaced with a new
one.
