REAR DRIVE INSTALLATION
Install the rear drive in the reverse order of removal. Pay atten-
tion to the following points:
• Coat a new O-ring with grease and install it into the groove in
the gear case.
99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (USA)
99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (Others)
• Apply grease to the splines of the axle.
99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (USA)
99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (Others)
• Apply THREAD LOCK SUPER “1303” to the axle housing
bolts and nuts, and tighten them to the specified torque.
99000-32030: THREAD LOCK SUPER “1303”
Axle housing bolt/nut: 55 N·m (5.5 kgf-m, 40 lb-ft)
• Install the spring into the rear end of the propeller shaft.
• Apply grease to the splines of the propeller shaft.
