You can also use your computer’s “drag and drop” or “copy/paste” functionality to drop or paste previously
created mark les, subfolders, or folders from your computer or server into the Filestore.
Although multiple les or folders can be selected and then dropped or pasted into the Flyer Filestore, you
can only drag or copy individual les out of the Filestore onto your computer or server.
Important Note: When the Filestore contains a le with the same name as the le you are copying,
the existing le in the Filestore is overwritten without warning.
Note: When copying les from a computer or server to the Flyer Filestore, the WinMark Pro Hardlock
(USB or parallel port type) must be installed on the computer running WinMark before this
operation is allowed to proceed.
Moving les
To move an existing le within the Filestore, select the le, hold down the shift key, and drag the le to
the appropriate folder or subfolder.
Important Note: When moving a le to a folder containing a le with the same name as the le you
are moving, the existing le is overwritten without warning.
Deleting les
To delete a le from the Filestore, right-click the le to select it and from the contextual menu, choose
Delete File or press the Delete key on your computer’s keyboard.
Important Note: The Flyer Filestore structure does not contain an “undo” feature! Make certain the
le you plan to delete is no longer needed or is backed up on a computer or server.
Adding folders
To create a folder, right-click inside the Flyer Files window and choose Make New Folder from the contex-
tual menu. A new f
older appears. To save the folder, enter a descriptive folder name. If the folder name is
not changed from the default title “New Folder”, no folder is created.
You can create folders that are nested inside of other folders by selecting an existing folder and then right-
clicking Make New Folder.
You cannot move a folder from one location to another inside the Filestore.
Deleting folders
To delete a folder from the Filestore, right-click the folder and choose Delete Folder from the contextual
menu or press the Delete key on your computer’s keyboard. The folder must be empty before deletion oc-
curs. If not, a dialog box appears and reminds you to first delete or move files from the folder.
