Note
• Use Premium High Speed HDMI cables when
connecting to peripheral devices.
• Connect this unit to the HDMI input terminal
which has ARC function.
• Set the audio output from TV speakers to Off.
• Linear PCM signal is only available for ARC
function.
• Do not input the signals other than linear PCM
signal, otherwise it may cause noise or damage the
connected speakers.
• For the equipment does not support ARC function,
connect the equipment with HDMI cable (not
supplied) and optical digital audio cable (not
supplied) to the optical digital input terminal
(OPT2) of this unit.
• To provide the higher quality sound, select “On
(Custom)” of “Pure Amplification” from the setup
menu and set “Network/USB-A/Bluetooth” to
“Disabled” to disable the network functions if you
will not use them. (⇒ 64)
• The volume may be lower depending on the
connected TV.
• The displaying volume levels of this unit and TV
may be different.
• An image may be slightly displayed on the screen
when switching the input source to this unit on TV
and this is not a malfunction.
HDMI Control
Enables HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control)
of this unit.
• HDMI CEC is a function of the HDMI standard
that exchanges the control signal to operate the
connected devices in sync.
1 Press [SETUP].
2 Press [
], [ ] repeatedly to select
“HDMI Control” and then press [OK].
3 Press [
], [ ] to select “On” and then
press [OK].
• The factory default is “On”.
• Set to “On” to enable the settings of “HDMI
Selector Link”, “HDMI Power On Link”, “HDMI
Power Off Link” and “HDMI ARC”.
