7.14. DISASSEMBLING THE BRAKE WINDING

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph
7.6. “Disassembling the guards” up to step 5.
1. Unplug the two Faston connectors a from the
winding.
2. Back off the fixing screws b
frame, using a 3-mm Allen wrench.
3. Remove the brake winding from the
machine.
To reassemble the brake winding, carry out the
above steps in reverse order.
Be careful to position the brake
assembly so that the copper disk does
not brush against the laminated core,
mm spacer, as described at
paragraph 8.3. “Brake assembly”.
