7.11. DISASSEMBLING THE FOOTBOARD LEVER BELT

Carry out the operations described in
paragraphs: 7.7. “Disassembling the guards”.
1.
Push down the pedal on the side of the belt
that is being disassembled, in such a way that
the belt cam is in the position shown in the
figure.
2. Lock the cam in pla
ce by pushing a wrench
or screwdriver behind the belt clamping
block, and into a hole in the frame behind the
cam.
3. Unhook the belt latch and pull from the insert
on cam, as in figure at the side.

4. Disconnect the tie-
rod from the footboard
lever belt, back off the screw (a)
with a 6mm
hexagonal wrench, looking the nut (b)
with a
17mm wrench.
