S ETTING U P C LEAR V IEW 3.0 S OFTWARE
ClearView 3.0 diagnostic and configuration software consists of a suite of
powerful tools, including:
x Auto-Tune - Easily tune your ClearPath-EC motor using this
built in utility.
x Soft Scope - View multiple system variables on an
oscilloscope-like display. such as measured torque, velocity,
following error, and many more.
x View and manage alerts, exceptions, and warnings in real time.
x Move Generator - Command motion, even prior to having
Master or an EtherCAT network up and running. The built-in
Move Generator software features a simple, intuitive set of
controls that let you easily jog your motors, make positioning
moves, torque moves, and velocity moves with a bare minimum
of components.

2. Launch the ClearView 3.0 installer. Follow the on-screen prompts to
complete installation.
Note: ClearPath-EC motors are compatible with ClearView 3.0 or later.
