ClearPath motors in this family require a power distribution interconnect
system to supply DC Bus Motor Power and Logic Power to the motor's
power connector. Teknic offers two power distribution boards depending
on your needs: The POWER4-HUB-S and the POWER4-STRIP-S.
POWER4-HUB-S - Distributes DC Bus Motor Power and Logic Power
from a separate Logic Power Backup Supply, to up to four ClearPath
motors. The DC Bus Motor Power Supply range is 24-75VDC. The Logic
Power Backup Supply range is 12-75VDC nominal (though 12V or 24V are
most commonly used, especially if Logic Power is supplied by a battery.
POWER4-STRIP-S - Distributes 24-75VDC to the DC motor drive and
the logic power circuits. Up to four ClearPath motors can be connected per
board. The POWER4-STRIP-S does not use a separate Logic Power
Backup Supply.

The POWER4-HUB-S:
1. Distributes DC Bus Motor Power to up to four ClearPath motors.
2. Distributes separate Logic Power to the ClearPath motor. Logic
Power will keep the motor's processor, encoder position, and
associated electronics alive in the event that DC Bus Power drops
out far any reason.
Note: Logic Power does not power the motor windings. As such Logic
Power alone cannot create torque at the motor shaft.
