ClearView 3.0 software is written in plain English with plenty of tips
and annotations. Use ClearView 3.0 to tune your system, set parameters
and options, and troubleshoot axis issues using the included Soft Scope.
Flexibility. ClearPath-EC motors support:
x Cyclic Synchronous Position (CSP)
x Cyclic Synchronous Velocity (CSV)
x Cyclic Synchronous Torque (CST)
x Homing mode
ClearPath-EC motors are at home in applications ranging from variable
speed conveyors to multi-axis positioning robots, to kinetic sculptures.
And, while most ClearPath customers have a specific application in mind,
it’s reassuring to know that your ClearPath-EC can be reconfigured to
perform a different job in just a few minutes.
Safety and self-protection features are standard. ClearPath will
rapidly shut down if it becomes overloaded, overheated, detects a hard
stop, or exceeds any of the safety or motion limits you specify.
Machine Safety features are standard. You have direct access to the
motor drive power, so it’s easy to implement Safe Torque Off (STO) by
interrupting the ClearPath-EC’s motor drive DC power. Only one
interrupting circuit at a central point is required to render all ClearPath-
EC motors in your machine safe, eliminating significant STO wiring.
(ClearPath-EC’s Logic Power input keeps EtherCAT communications, I/O
and position feedback fully functional when ClearPath-EC’s motor drive
DC power is interrupted- so there is no loss of other functionality or
information during a machine safety event.)
Absolute Position Feedback functionality is standard. Logic Power for
a group of ClearPath-EC motors can be supplied by a battery and charger,
preserving position information even during a power loss, lockout, or
machine safety event. For most machines, it’s easy to keep the absolute
position function active for days using a widely available, inexpensive 12V
battery and charger.
Made in USA. Each ClearPath motor is built and tested in our New York
manufacturing facility, so you can be certain you’re getting a high quality,
fully tested motion control product right out of the box. Additionally,
Teknic backs up each ClearPath motor with a generous three-year
warranty.
