5. As soon as the measurement is finished, the probe will automatically retract. The retract
distance is defined in the system parameters.
6. Proceed the same way for the next measurements.
12.8 Static culmination
point (MH),

The concept of the static detection of the culmination point is defined by its way of
determining the max. or min. height of the selected bore or axis. Unlike the procedure
described here, the displacement of the workpiece back and forth is only used to position
the probe at the centre of the element. At this time, no measurement is carried out. The
workpiece is no longer moved (static measurement). At that moment, the culmination
point(s) are measured by probing up/down.
Before starting the procedure, it is important to make sure that the “static measurement”
option has been correctly configured in the system options .
Process
1. Place the probe inside the bore.
2. Displace slightly the probe to one side in order to locate visually on one side of the
searched culmination point.
3. Move the probe up or down in order to establish contact with the workpiece.
