Contact GALAXY respectively TOMARK in case of any doubt.
DANGER Risk of unintentional rocket firing.
▶ Always contact the manufacturer before performing maintenance on
the GRS unit.
▶ Do not carry out the following procedure in closed halls.
▶ Do not allow anyone to stay in the axis of possible GRS unit fire.
▶ Do not allow anyone to stay in the direction of possible GRS unit
launching direction.
▶ Ensure the launching handle is secured by the peg with the warning
flag during the complete procedure.
▶ Insert both safeties (A and B) before starting dismounting of the
system.
▶ Follow the latest edition of applicable GALAXY instructions.
▶ Remove right seat as per Chapter
25-10-01 Seats

▶ Remove right control stick as per Chapter

▶ Remove left and right panel as per Chapter
31-00-01 Panel

▶ Remove top engine cowling as per Chapter
71-00-01 Top Engine

▶ Remove the two aft parachute attachment brackets (7) (2 bolts each).
▶ Pull the parachute (11) aft some centimeters to get access to the front
parachute attachment brackets (1).
▶ Remove the two front parachute attachment brackets (2 bolts each).
▶ Note position of cable ties on the parachute attachment frame.
▶ Cut the cable ties on the parachute attachment frame.
▶ Separate the two upper attachment rails (2) from the firewall (1 bolt
each).
▶ Separate the two lower attachment rails (6) from the fuselage frame
(4) and instrument panel frame (10) (2 bolts and sleeves (8) each).
▶ Slide the attachment rails out of the parachute straps.
▶ Open the carbine and remove 3 suspension slings of the fuselage
attachment.
▶ Place the parachute on the right cockpit floor.
▶ Note the correct arrangement of rocket and bridle, especially the
routing of the bridle wire.
▶ Remove the rocket from its support (3) on the firewall (4 Allen
screws).
