atthetestconnectionsbeforecontinuingthetest.
6.Makesurehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperaturebyoperatingthe
machineforapproximately5minutes.
7.Setthethrottletoamediumspeed(2,575to2,725RPM).Verifytheengine
RPMwithanon-contacttachometer.
8.Momentarilyholdanyoftheliftcontrolleversinthefullyraised(extended)
positionandrecordthehighestreadingonthepressuregauge.
9.MovethethrottletolowspeedandsetthekeyswitchtotheOFFposition.
10.Thecircuitreliefvalvepressureshouldbeapproximately6000kPa(870
PSI).Ifthereliefpressurecannotbemetorisgreaterthanspecied,the
reliefvalveisdamagedandshouldberepairedorreplaced;refertoServicing
theControlValve(page5–77).
11.Aftertesting:
A.Removethepressuregaugeandcoverthetestttingwiththecap
provided.
B.Checkandadjustthelevelofthehydraulicuidinthehydraulicreservoir;
refertothetractionunitOperator’sManual.
C.Starttheengineandcheckforanyhydraulicuidleaks.Repairhydraulic
leaksifnecessarybeforereturningthemachinetoservice.
