1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagetheparkingbrake,setthekey
switchtotheOFFpositionandremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Drainthehydraulicreservoir;refertothetractionunitOperator’sManual.
Note:Inspectthemagneticdrainplugfordebris.Inspectthehydraulic
uid.Replacethehydrauliclterifuidcontaminationisapparent;referto
thetractionunitOperator’sManual.Cleanthemagneticdrainplugbefore
installation.
3.Removethebattery;refertoRemovingandInstallingtheBattery(page6–29).
4.Removethefastenerssecuringthebatterytraytothemachineandremove
thebatterytray.
5.Removethehydraulicreservoirclampatthetopofthereservoir.
6.Cleantheareaaroundthehydraulichoseandttingconnectionsthen
disconnectorremovethehydraulichosesfromthebackofthereservoir.Cap
